Magic Book 3D Screensaver. A pretty strange name for this unique program
I found it very interesting as a concept, but I really didn’t get the feeling of magic that the name implies.
If you visit the developer site, you will be able to read something related to it, talking about a philosophical approach to time and I don’t know what else. Well, in my opinion, this nifty software is much simpler than that. It will display a nice ancient book appearing from behind your desktop. Once opened, it will show you the time and date on its pages. So, here we have some of the features and benefits of the screensaver: a clock and a calendar.
But, when you thought this was just another boring clock and calendar, when you are starting to turn your head around to look at somewhere else, you listen to the characteristic sound of pages turning. You look back at the book and yes, the page is turning. The effect is very nice, as is the sound. On each page you will see a clock, without anything fancy, giving you the time, and in case you didn’t learn how to read the time with the clock hands, it displays it on the bottom of the page. On the opposite page, you will see the date clearly displayed.
Magic Book 3D Screensaver will satisfy your needs of a clock and a calendar very well. It will also add a feeling of ancient times to your screen. And, if you use your imagination a lot, you might even delve into the meaning of the passing of time.
